Common metal cutting methods in sheet metal processing
Many common items in our lives are made of sheet metal, ranging from bus stop signs to refrigerators and lockers. to mobile phones, mechanical parts and accessories of certain sizes, etc. The items listed above all require cutting or bending, so how are these products processed ? Metal cutting is one such process. Here are four ways to cut metal.
First, cut with a cutting saw. At present, many sheet metal processing factories commonly use cutting saws as a method of cutting metal. Typically, the blade of a cutting saw rotates with a click to cut metal and other objects.
Second, welding and cutting. This cutting method uses flammable gas to melt the metal before cutting. Generally, the flammable gas is acetylene, which will produce sparks during cutting. Therefore, operators should pay attention to protection when operating.
Third, cut the cord. This cutting method uses molybdenum wire to cut metal. The molybdenum wire runs at high speed in the equipment to achieve the cutting function.
Fourth, plasma cutting. In this cutting method, gas is used as a conductive medium, and the heat of the gas can directly melt the metal. After the hardness of the molten metal is reduced, it can be cut directly.
