Why is there have the Prototype?

In the design process of industrial products, after the completion of the design drawings, the most important thing designers want to do is to know the effect of their designed products after the real object.

The appearance of the product and their own design ideas are consistent, the design of the structure is reasonable and so on? In order to solve this problem, the manufacture of hand plate is produced in response to this demand.

What do we call it ?

Now we can simply put the hand plate model directly called sample, can also become a pre-production trial, or even directly called the product/item, because now the use of hand plate has been more and more.

Because the early industrial samples are purely handmade, so called hand plate, also because it is the first piece, so some people called the first plate. The background of the industry and the enterprise is different, and the appellation of the hand plate is not quite the same,

Some Japanese companies usually call it a "product trial", while other foreign companies like to call it a "Mockup"; The auto industry calls this "rapid prototyping, or RP prototyping,"

Design industry called "hand plate", there is also an industry called "proofing", anyway, each has its own title, multifarious.

What kinds of hand plate are there?

According to the means of production, the hand board can be divided into manual hand board and CNC Machining:

(1)Manual hand plate: its main workload is completed by hand.

(2)CNC hand plate: its main workload is completed by CNC machine tools, and according to the different equipment used, can be divided into laser Rapid Prototyping (RP,Rapid Prototyping) hand plate and machining center (CNC) hand plate.

A: RP hand plate: It is mainly produced bylaser rapid prototypingtechnology.

B: CNC hand plate: It is mainly produced by machining center.

RP hand plate compared with CNC hand plate each has its own advantages:

The advantages of RP hand plate are mainly manifested in its rapidity, but it is mainly formed by stacking technology, so the RP hand plate is generally relatively rough, and the wall thickness of the product has certain requirements, such as the wall thickness is too thin can not be produced.

The advantages of CNC hand board are reflected in that it can very accurately reflect the information expressed in the drawings, and CNC hand board surface quality is high, especially after the completion of the surface spraying and screen printing, even more than the production of products after the mold.

Therefore,CNC handboard manufacturing is becoming the mainstream of handboard manufacturing industry

According to the material used in the production, the hand board can be divided into plastic hand board and metal hand board:

(1) Plastic hand board: the raw material is plastic, mainly some plastic products, such as TV, smart home, digital electronics and so on.

(2) Metal hand plate: its raw materials for aluminum magnesium alloy and other metal materials, mainly some high-grade products of the hand plate. Such as laptop, advanced single player, high voltage electric control box, CD player and so on.
